COMPUTERS for KIDS Program

   

A grateful thanks to all of you who took part in the COMPUTERS for
KIDS Program. Through this program, Many people received computers
who otherwise might not have been able to have them.

Although this program no longer exists in the Frankfort-
Elberta Area, you may find similar programs in

nearby communities, such as Traverse City.

  • If you have computer equipment to donate, and cannot find similar programs:
    if the equipment is older and/or unrepairable, it can be recycled
    through the county's recycling program or through GoodWill in
    Traverse City.
  • If the equipment is newer and working, check with family and
    friends as well as local schools, businesses, organizations to if
    there's someone that can use if. If no one can be found, contact
    local computer technicians -- they may be able to help you find a
    home for the equipment.
 

If you are looking for a used computer, check family and friends as
well as local schools, businesses, organizations -- to see if they
are letting go of anything. If nothing can be found,

contact local computer technicians -- they may have,

or be able to help you find, used equipment.
