Member Meetings
The Chamber holds monthly meetings with its members and board to review and drive
all operations of the Chamber. All members are encouraged to attend to stay aware
of what's happening with the Chamber and in the community, as well as to participate
in the guidance of Chamber operation and activities.
Meetings are the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 AM.
Minutes of past meetings are available at the Chamber to any member not able to attend
a meeting.
Member Services
Your membership dues allow the Chamber to promote the area through a variety of
tourist publications as well as disseminate large numbers of inquiry specific information.
Providing member and area information to other visitor centers, this provides members
with greater exposure at little cost.

Membership Dues
- Standard Business Membership: $185/year
- NEW! Additional Business Discount - Add a second business for only $100/year

To join, simply print out the Membership Application and submit it (by mail or
in person) with your check for membership dues to:

Referral Program
When a new member joins the Chamber, on the membership application (see above)
is a line asking who referred them. The new member is to specify one (and only one)
Chamber member (business, organization, or person) as the referrer.
Each referrer will receive a check for:
- $25 if the new member is a business, and
- $15 if the new member is a non-profit or individual.
Checks will be issued quarterly to each referrer.
Web Information
for Members
Get your own Web page hosted at the Chamber's site!
The Chamber offers the service to have your own (single) Web page hosted at the
Chamber's site. This provides an easy and inexpensive way for you (as a Chamber member)
to have a presence on the Internet's World Wide Web. It also helps anyone interested
in businesses or organizations in this area to easily find you.
Up to four photos are allowed, and some text describing your business or organization.
See this sample page which is the template
for accommodations pages. A link will be made from your listing on the the Chamber's
Accommodations page or Member Listing page direct to your Web page.
The costs are a $75 one-time set-up fee, and a $20/year maintenance fee, which includes
two minor changes per year. Please contact the Chamber via phone at 231-352-7251
or email the
Chamber to request this type of Web page, or to request changes to an existing
page.
Your listing on the Members or Accommodations page...
We ask all members to review their listing at the Member
Listing page or Accommodations page to make sure all
information desired is present and correct. For many of you on the Members page,
a short description for your organization or business would be very helpful in many
ways.
Where possible, we have tried to find a logo that applies to your listing. If you
want to change from the image that's there, please supply a 120 x 90 pixel (maximum
dimensions) GIF or JPG photo or image. Ideally it will be your logo or a photo of
your place, but it can be of anything associated with your organization or business.
Please email the
Chamber with any missing or corrected information and/or new logo or image. Also
be sure to email us if any information for your listing ever changes.

For those of you with a Web site, please let everyone know you're a member and
help folks to the Chamber site by placing this graphic:
